Avalon is a cutter rigged full keel cruiser built to high semi-custom
standards. In traditional Carl Alberg style this charming
Cape Dory is generously detailed with brass and teak giving
a warm and cozy feel below. She is a very comfortable and
roomy and feels larger than most typical 36 foot designs.
Accommodations
1 Double Berth, 1 Single Berth, 1 Quarter Berth in Main Cabin,
Double V-Berth in Fwd Cabin
1 head with shower; pressurized hot and cold water, large
icebox, 3 burner propane stove w/ oven, complete galley gear
and linens; 2 opening hatches and 11 opening ports.
Sails and Accessories
Roller furling with genoa, staysail; tri-radial fully battened
mainsail w/ electric main halyard & main sheet winch,
Leisure furl boom system with solid vang, self tailing
winches; dodger; wheel steering; cockpit table, cockpit
cushions, grill, swim ladder; Fortress anchor on bow roller;
inflatable dinghy with outboard; safety equipment as required
by US Coast Guard for coastal cruising.
Electronics:
VHF radio; knotmeter, depthsounder, wind instruments, autopilot;
Raymarine Radar chartplotter all at helm, AM/FM Stereo
with CD, 12 volt power with 120 volt shore power.
