The ODay 40 was originally designed by French IOR designer
Phillip Briand for Jeanneau and sold as the Sun Fizz. Some modifications
(mainly interior and most notably the large aft cabin with king-size
berth) resulted in the ODay 40. Day Star is
a good all-around sailer, on the performance end of the cruising-boat
spectrum.
