Start to Finish Wesmac 50 / Kathleen IV

The bare hull arrived at our facility in the spring of 2005 and was launched on August 5th 2008. Her maiden voyage included a presentation at the 2008 Maine Boats, Homes and Harbors Boat Show in Rockland. Many thanks to those who contributed their expertise to this project: the gracious owners for their impeccable taste in interior design, the entire crew at Johanson Boatworks, and engineering by Mark Fitzgerald.
Phase One: The project began with precision engineering and design work of the hull; lowering the bow for increased visibility and adding the nacelles to the hull for the jets. Installation systems: Fuel and Tanks, Engines and Jets, A/C, Water, Watermaker, Waste & Holding Tanks / Pumps, Washer / Dryer, Central Drainage, Espar, Thruster, Generator, Mufflers and Windlass with Bow Roller Assembly.
Phase Two: Construction & Fairing of the Cabin House, Salon Sole, Interior Partitions Below, Aft Cockpit Gridwork and Engine Insulation.
Phase Three: Finishing the Cockpit and Lockers, Winterback, install Windows & Hatches, build the Cabin Interior, Cabinetry; Install Headliners, Galley, Wiring and Plumbing, Electronics and Steering System; Awlgrip, and final Finishwork.
Final: Launch and Test Runs.
