Repair Portfolio
Our annual boat maintenance and service includes: servicing
engine and boat systems, inspection and misc. repairs,
buff & polish deck and hull, finish work, bottom paint,
rigging, commissioning, etc. for 35 to 40 storage customers
each season. In addition to these services we have listed
a sampling of other boat repair projects completed by our

Mechanical: Constructed engine enclosure for noise and vibration
Troubleshoot and repair exhaust systems

Fiberglass: Extensive fiberglass repair: 30% of the hull
had wet core and it was also present in numerous areas
of the deck. Below the water line including the transom
we re-cored and re-glassed from the outside. We also
re-cored and re-glassed numerous areas of the topsides
and deck from the inside.
Mechanical: New Cutlass bearing, Prop and shaft work
Finish Work: Refinished the topsides and transom with gel
coat as necessary
Strip, Interprotect 2000, sand, prep, spray bottom paint

Mechanical: Install aluminum fuel tanks, Dynaplate

Finish work: Paint the overhead in main cabin, Re-chrome

Spray Awlgrip deck: include hardware removal and reinstall,
non skid removal, spot fill and fair, spray primer coats,
sand, spray with top coat. Spray non skid
Spray Awlgrip topsides, Replace name and hail
Diogenes J-44
Prep for several Bermuda and off shore races
Mechanical: Install windlass and new bow roller and assembly
Install holding tank pumps, Add 2nd fuel tank, Add water
tank
Rebuild engine, replaced transmission, new maxi prop and
cutlass bearing
Electronics: Install Radar, chart plotter, and autopilot,
B&G Ocean pack electronics package, Smart regulator,
high output alternator, battery system upgrade
Carpentry: Bunk extension, table modifications, replace
most hatches and ports
Fiberglass: Reinforced the sump, required keel removal
Faired the keel and rudder to race specs
Rigging: Install new winches, re-bed chain plates, extended
the main genoa track and replaced it forward, new stoppers,
upgrade halyards to high-tech line, splice, etc.
Outfit with new sails and canvas
Finish Work: Spray Awlgrip topsides, Spray Awlgrip boom
Spray, fair, wetsand bottom to race finish each season
Extensive exterior and interior brightwork
